Beach Blanket Bunker
Aim for the bunker! If your tee shot lands in the bunker, your teams scores a Hole-in-One for the hole. If it lands on the blanket, you win a prize. If it lands in the ring on the blanket, you win a trip to Cancun!

Who We Are

The Young Marines is a national youth education and service organization for boys and girls, aged eight through high school graduation. The Young Marines strengthens the lives of America’s youth by teaching the importance of self-confidence, academic achievement, honoring veterans, good citizenship, community service, and living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The program focuses on building tomorrow's leaders today.

R. Lee Ermey

For decades, actor R. Lee Ermey was the celebrity spokesperson for the Young Marines. He motivated both the youth and adult volunteers and was a frequent inspirational speaker at the annual Young Marines adult leaders conferences. He helped to raise money for the program each year at the Young Marines annual golf tournament at Medal of Honor Golf Course in Quantico, Virginia. After his passing in April 2018, the Young Marines named the tournament in his honor. In 2022, with the permission of the Ermey Family, Young Marines added "The Gunny" Annual Golf Tournament at Marine Memorial Golf Course in Camp Pendleton, California as a second Young Marines golf tournament in honor of R. Lee Ermey.
